Tell us about yourself

I come from Shanghai, and I love my hometown—it’s the fastest-growing and coolest city in all of China. I’ve loved sports since I was a child, always serving as the class sports monitor, and I enjoy playing basketball and cycling. After starting work, despite being busy, I’ve kept up with working out at the gym, building muscle and honing my willpower. I believe exercise is a lifelong pursuit for me, keeping me youthful and confident. At the same time, in both my daily life and work, I enjoy helping friends and colleagues develop exercise habits and interests, spreading more joy to those around me.

Your first FitFam workout

I was introduced to FitFam by a friend. I remember my first workout was at Xujiahui Park in Shanghai- it was an unforgettable experience, realizing that I could enjoy such a pleasant workout outdoors with so many people. After that, I started joining FitFam’s activities across various locations, mostly working out at West Bund, and gradually got to know a group of friends who shared the same interests.

After a year of exercising, two “big brothers” in the community, Victor and Henry, encouraged me to join the leadership team, where I took on the role of a leader, helping design workouts and leading everyone through high-quality exercise sessions. Starting in 2022, I became a regular leader at West Bund, participating in over 300 training sessions and taking part in FitFam’s anniversary sports events multiple times. It’s been absolutely wonderful. I’m grateful to my friends in the community who have always encouraged and supported me.

Anything else you would like to share?

Finally, I want to say that FitFam is more than just a not for profit sports community - if you're looking to pursue a career in sports or fitness in the future, it's an excellent platform. In 2024, I obtained my fitness trainer certification. In August 2025, I became a group class coach at a well-known fitness brand. In November 2025, I became an official head judge for a major fitness competition, competed as an elite male athlete, and was selected for a prestigious athletic training camp. In 2026, I became a strength and conditioning group class coach and community manager at a local fitness club. All of this has come from the confidence I built and the experience I gained at FitFam. I love FitFam, and I love all of you!
